Earth is finished. A combination of mismanagement, ecological disaster and war have ended mankind’s story in the cradle of our creation. There is now only the diaspora, a vast fleet of ships, crawling through the vast reaches of space in search of new worlds to call home.

This is some text about the Earthers. As you can tell I need to invest a little bit more effort in it, but you get the idea.
Earthers
The advancers are bored of how things were done before – they want to move on, and will tale everyone else along for the ride.
Advancer
Earth is a past we shouldn’t revisit here. Instead we should embrace everything about this new world and fit ourselves to it. This is the only way we can avoid the same fate which befell the people on Earth.
